Successful People Never Stop Learning – Thompson Advises Youth

June 3, 2022. Adabraka, ACCRA: The most successful individuals never stop learning, Kenneth K. Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of Dalex Finance, has advised students of African University College of Communications (AUCC). Mr. Thompson made this statement today when he addressed graduating students at the school’s Poster Presentation event held at the Forecourt of Discovery House, Adabraka.

The students of 2022 constituted 37 groups to present as many project proposals to the student body and general public. The theme for the event was “Bridging The Gap Between Today’s Academy and Tomorrows Industry”.

Mr. Thompson explained that universities provide opportunities, but it is up to students to seize them.

“Students should not stop learning once you have a job; instead, you should continue to teach yourselves and push yourselves,” he said.”Make a commitment to never stop learning… because successful people never stop learning. They keep reading to have a thorough understanding of what we do.”

The Dalex boss challenged students to learn about industry demands, how to meet them, how to conduct themselves, and how to place themselves inside an organization.

“How do you position yourself and move beyond your books?” He posed a series of questions to the students. “These are the building blocks for the future. The majority of university students are unprepared for the workforce, and this is why this poster project presentation is a necessary component of the future.”

In all over 200 students took part in the poster presentation event that was attended by hundreds of fellow students, faculty, and members of the general public.

The poster presentation event is the brainchild of the school’s president Prof. Abeku Blankson.
