PAHW MUSEUM APPOINTS ANTHONY BROWDER TO CURATORIAL BOARD

Accra, Ghana – November 12, 2021

Anthony T. Browder, author, publisher, cultural historian, artist, and an educational consultant, has been appointed Resource Facilitator to the Curatorial Board of the Pan African Heritage World Museum (PAHWM) in Accra, Ghana. Browder is a graduate of Howard University, College of Fine Arts and has lectured extensively throughout the United States, Africa, Caribbean, Mexico, Japan and Europe on topics related to African and African American history and culture.

He is also founder and director of IKG Cultural Resources and currently director of the ASA Restoration Project, with over 30 years of experience researching ancient Egyptian history, science, philosophy and culture. Anthony Browder joins PAHWM at an exciting time when it is affirmed that ancient Africans were the architects of the Nile Valley civilization and developed the foundation of what has become the scientific, religious, and philosophical backbone of mankind.

PAHWM’s Curatorial Board, under the guidance of Dr. Molefi Kete Asante, Ph.D., Professor and Chair, Department of African American Studies at Temple University and curatorial consultant, Dr. Babacar MBow, who curated The Museum of Black Civilizations in Dakar, Senegal, is championing the digital version of the Pan African Heritage World Museum, which will be launched on January 24, 2022. PAWHM’s “museum without walls” will be open to the public ahead of the physical museum, which is scheduled to be complete in August 2023.

The mission of the Pan African Heritage World Museum (PAHWM) is to create an environment for people of African descent and all others to discover and experience the true history of the origins of humanity, the development of cultures and the great civilizations of the Nile Valley that influenced the past, inform the present, and will shape the future, serving as an inspiration for generations to come. PAHWM’s vision is to become the perpetual site of pilgrimage for Africans, people of African descent and others, for education, healing, and inspiration.
